The 24 Hour Cut is a creative film challenge celebrating and supporting Black, Asian and ethnically diverse creatives in Wales.
Participants work in teams to develop, film and edit an original short film within just 24 hours.
The programme provides hands-on production experience, industry mentorship and practical support in a collaborative environment.
Each participant receives a bursary and teams can access production and equipment support.
Before filming begins, participants take part in training sessions led by experienced filmmakers and mentors.
Sessions cover storytelling, production planning, teamwork, filming and editing.
Mentors and technical support remain available throughout the challenge process.



Open to Black, Asian and ethnically diverse creatives aged 18+.
No previous film experience required to take part.
Writers, directors, editors, producers, videographers and emerging creatives.
Ideal for anyone looking to build skills and gain hands-on experience.
